TRADE: Raptors Uprising GC and DUX Infinitos complete player plus draft pick deal

In the team’s first piece of business this calendar year, Raptors Uprising GC have acquired Waseem “Ball Like Seem” Talbert and the 13th pick in the 2023 NBA 2K League Draft from DUX Infinitos in exchange for Kenneth “Kenny Got Work” Hailey and the 36th pick.
Seem was a fourth-round pick by Mavs gaming in the inaugural season of the NBA 2K League before joining Kings Guard a year later.
After spending the 2022 season with DUX, Seem now heads north to Canada having already represented 2K League teams from the United States and Mexico. DUX debuted as the first NBA 2K League team based out of Mexico last season.
Kenny was the first-round pick of Raptors Uprising GC during the inaugural 2018 NBA 2K League season going 11th overall. During his time in Toronto, Kenny established himself as a leader for Raptors Uprising, both on and off the court.
This trade showcases yet again that new Raptors Uprising head coach Roy Krishnan means business ahead of the new season. All eyes will now be on the upcoming draft.
