Raptors Uprising GC suffered a disappointing end to their 2023 season, falling 73-58 to Knicks Gaming in Game 1 of The Ticket.
With that result, New York ended Toronto’s hopes of clinching a spot in 5v5 playoffs.
It had been a while since Raptors Uprising were in action as they patiently waited for the opportunity to work their way to the playoffs.
In spite of the anticipation and getting to play in DC, Toronto will return home gutted that they did not live to see another game this year.
The Knicks took a four-point lead in the first quarter to start things off before extending that to 10 at halftime.
Toronto looked slightly more comfortable in the third quarter, but in the fourth, the game got away from them and the Knicks sealed a 15-point win to eliminate Raptors Uprising.
On the night, Mooch, Gazulli and Putback were all in double figures for points with 24, 13, and 12 respectively.
BallLikeSeem led the team in rebounds with 12, while Gazulli was the squad’s assists leader with seven.
