TRADE: Raptors Uprising GC sends Type to Knicks Gaming in exchange for 2023 draft pick

Raptors Uprising GC has made their second trade in the span of a week, acquiring the 27th overall pick in the 2023 NBA 2K League Draft from Knicks Gaming in exchange for Xavier “Type” Vescovi.

Just last week, Toronto acquired the 26th selection in the 2023 NBA 2K League Draft and 2024 first round pick in exchange for Xavier “Big Saint” St John and 2024 second round pick; a trade highlighting that change is on the horizon ahead of the 2023 NBA 2K League season.

Now, Raptors Uprising parts ways with another player to make room for new talent on the roster.

During the 2018 NBA 2K League Draft, Type was selected by Warriors Gaming Squad in the fourth round (52nd overall). Raptors Uprising then acquired Type in a trade with Hornets Venom GT in November 2020.

Following two years in Toronto, Type will now begin the next chapter of his career with the Knicks where he’ll be looking to bounce back following last season’s upset. .

A date for the 2023 NBA 2K League Draft has yet to be determined, but what we do know is that Toronto is set to welcome at least two new players to their ranks after this transaction and last week’s four-team trade.
