TORONTO, Canada—It’s another two-matchup week in the 6ix as Raptors Uprising GC, NBA 2K League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, will look to continue their winning ways in the regular season when they take on Celtics Crossover Gaming on Wednesday evening followed by a showdown with 76ers GC on Friday night in Week 7 NBA 2K League action.
Raptors Uprising (5-13), winners of three-straight regular season games, enter this week fresh off a disappointing showing at THE TURN Tournament and will be motivated to bounce back Wednesday against Boston.
“Our next games are against the CLTX, which is a team we split with last time and we weren’t satisfied,” said Raptors Uprising veteran TsJosh.
Celtics Crossover Gaming (6-10) and Raptors Uprising met earlier this season, with each side winning one game apiece. For Toronto, the Week 3 triumph marked their first win of the season, but this time around, they’re confident they can come away with both victories.

Meanwhile, after picking up just four wins in Season 3, Boston decided to turn the page and rebuild this past offseason, sending franchise point guard oFab to Cavs Legion GC for a pair of first-round picks that were used to select rookie lock Tayzo (5th overall) and centre WorthingColt (17th overall). WorthingColt is a player that Timelycook will know quite well, having spent Season 1 alongside the Raptors Uprising star with Kings Guard Gaming.
Rounding out the rest of Boston’s starting five are Bulley and FT, the only retained players from Season 3, and highly-touted rookie WalkingBucket. FT and WalkingBucket make up a very dangerous backcourt, one that combined for 95 points over two games the last time these two teams met.
“FT was the reason they beat us, and even when they lost to us, he had a good game,” said TsJosh. “We definitely want to contain him, and I think they’re more defence than offence, so if we score like we should, then we’ll be good because I think that our defence will contain their offence.”
Raptors Uprising and Celtics Crossover Gaming come into this one tied all-time in head-to-head meetings at three wins apiece. A two-game sweep from either side will put them ahead in that department.
Tipoff is set for 9 pm and 10 pm ET on Wednesday.
And then on Friday, Raptors Uprising will take on a star-studded 76ers GC (9-7) side looking to bounce back following a pair of Week 6 losses to Knicks Gaming.
Like Boston, Philadelphia turned the page and begun a new era, dealing franchise point guard Radiant to Pistons GT while bringing in several new faces, including Season 1 MVP OneWildWalnut from Blazer5 Gaming, Arooks from Bucks Gaming, and rookie point guard Dre with the fourth-overall selection in this year’s draft.
Dre has been on a tear in his first season in the league as he enters this contest ranked 11th in the NBA 2K League in scoring, averaging 25.9 points per game, and 9th in assists, averaging 10.1 per game.

Raptors Uprising enter Friday’s matchup maintaining a 2-1 series edge all-time against the 76ers. The two teams most recently met all the way back in Week 1 last season with Toronto coming away with a statement victory.
With both sides looking revamped in comparison to last season, Friday night should make for an interesting matchup.
Tipoff is set for 9 pm and 10 pm ET.
How to Watch: Raptors Uprising and Celtics Crossover Gaming will tipoff at 9 pm EST before once again squaring off at 10 pm EST Wednesday night. Toronto will then take on 76ersGC on Friday night with tipoff once again set for 9 pm and 10 pm EST. As always, fans can tune in on the NBA 2K League’s Twitch or YouTube channels.
