Raptors Uprising Gaming Club (GC) and LottoMax (Ontario Lottery & Gaming) are excited to announce the launch of a joint program bridging the gap between the NBA 2K League and the Toronto urban music community.
Beginning this April, Raptors Uprising GC will release highlight mixtapes from their official NBA 2K League matches in a new video series called 6ixtape. A local spin on mixtapes, which commonly refer to similar highlight videos popular within the competitive NBA 2K community, each 6ixtape volume will feature soundtracks from Canadian urban music artists.
Moreover, each artist featured in the 6ixtape video series will also perform at a club concert event powered by Raptors Uprising GC and LottoMax in Toronto during the 2019 North by Northeast Festival series which is set to takeover the city in June.
Rap and hip hop music has long played a major role within the NBA 2K franchise, and Raptors Uprising GC in partnership with LottoMax are excited to bring this community crossover campaign to the local 2K and urban music scenes here in Toronto, and to extend this opportunity for some of the brightest local music talents to align with the Raptors Uprising GC team, brand, and fanbase.
